A New Impetus for Julien Tourtoulou: Forwards Coach at Labarthe Sur Leze Club

At Religion Rugby, we are delighted to share an exciting chapter in the history of our co-creator, Julien Tourtoulou. Indeed, after an impressive career on the rugby field, Julien is taking a new turn by becoming the Forwards coach for the Labarthe Sur Leze club for the 2025-2026 season.

An Exemplary Journey

Julien is a rugby enthusiast, trained at the Ariège club US Foix before joining Colomiers Rugby at a very young age. His career blossomed over fifteen years, ten of which were spent at the professional level. With his experience working alongside seasoned coaches, he has developed valuable expertise that he is now determined to pass on to younger players.

A New Challenge

This new adventure fits perfectly with the identity of Religion Rugby, which advocates values of passion, transmission, and solidarity. Labarthe Sur Leze, a club competing in Occitanie Regional 2, is the ideal environment for the start of this new experience.

Julien had already made his mark on the team last season, helping Labarthe Sur Leze become Occitanie champions in Regional Promotion 2, while also reaching the semi-finals of the French championship. This success demonstrates his commitment and expertise.

Towards New Horizons

For Julien, each training session will be an opportunity to refine key aspects of the Forwards' game. His in-depth knowledge of lineouts and game strategies will undoubtedly be a major asset for his new club.
