At Religion Rugby, we have always stood for much more than a ready-to-wear brand. We embody a vision: that of rugby as a school of life, made of commitment, solidarity and strong family values. Today, this philosophy resonates perfectly with the initiative led by Mathieu Peluchon and his company Cryotank.
A meeting around rugby and friendship
A former professional player, who notably played for Albi and Auch, Mathieu Peluchon has remained faithful to the world of rugby by creating Cryotank, a company specialized in sports recovery thanks to cold water baths. A solution increasingly used in high-level sports to improve recovery, prevent injuries and optimize performance.
But beyond the technical aspect, what naturally brings Religion Rugby and Cryotank together are human values. Mathieu is developing his project in a family setting, surrounded by his brother and father-in-law. A vision that echoes that of Religion Rugby, created by Julien and Jean-Charles, also built on trust, transmission and family spirit.
Common values: family, commitment and rugby
At Religion Rugby, Jean-Charles, a former colonel, and Julien have always wanted to build a brand that reflects the authenticity of rugby. The importance of family, collectivism and respect are at the heart of the project. This common foundation naturally explains the proximity between the two worlds.
Julien and Mathieu have known each other for several years through rugby. Their relationship was strengthened by mutual friends, notably Mathieu Acebes with whom Mathieu Peluchon played in Auch. Over time, this friendship has transformed into a natural collaboration.
An installation at the service of players
Today, as coach of the Labarthe-sur-Lèze rugby club, Julien wanted to highlight the expertise of Cryotank by installing a cold recovery tub directly in the club's changing rooms. An initiative that is part of a desire to offer players modern tools to optimize their recovery after training and matches.
In a sport as demanding as rugby, recovery has become an essential element. The use of cold baths helps reduce muscle soreness, accelerate muscle recovery and improve player availability throughout the season.
As Mathieu Peluchon very well summarized during the installation: “A day like this, you don't feel like you're working.”
